Have you ever feel sad. Obviously, many of you would say yes.
But... have you
ever feel sad all the time..and you don't even know why.. You just feel down.
No matter what you do to overcome it.
Growing up,I was
timid. I still remembered, when in primary school,I wouldn't go anywhere alone
not without my friend's company. I would depended on my friend. Whether to ask
a question or going to toilet. It was my mistakes that I never takes the
time to thanks and appreciated them enough till they're gone from my life.
Secondary school's started. Alone.New school. New faces. I started felt that I
was being isolated. It was hard. I gave up.
I wish "The
Perks of Being a Wallflower" appeared earlier in my life during those most
depressing time in my life where I almost took my own life. Most of you probably
known about the amazing 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Although,I had
watched the movie first before discovered the book, as a bookworm I definitely
prefer the book's version.
At first, I didn't really want to watch the movie as I'm afraid I'll cry. I felt depressed that day. I didn't want to talk with anyone. I just wanna cry but I'm afraid to because I didn't wanna feel worst afterwards. Then I remembered the movie. I watched it.Alone in my room. I felt connected. After watching it, I felt at ease. I felt motivated.
The author,Stephen
Chbosky managed to portrayed the main character,Charlie perfectly. The story
was about Charlie a teenage boy.He is a wallflower and is facing a lot problem.
I could related to Charlie, so I was immersed with the character.
There are many
reasons to watch this movie, If you have time I strongly recommend to read the
book. One of the reasons is, it’s a good to motivate yourself. For me, it makes
me feel motivate to keep moving forward. I was struggled to make friend in my
teenage years. This story makes me feel that I have hopes. Maybe one day, I
will found the one who I could called friend.
There will be times that YOU will be cry out of sadness and even happiness.
You’ll be facing an emotional roller coaster throughout the story. If you an
introvert, a wallflower or even struggling depression, you’ll feel relieved. You’ll
realised ,“There’s someone like me. There’s a hope. This is temporary. All good
things comes to those who wait.”
For extrovert out there, by
watching or reading this story you’ll learn about those who’re introvert. Get
to know us. This movie is one of the movie that successfully portrayed an
introvert. Not only that, but also about
mental health issues. There’re reasons for those struggle with mental health.
Please don’t give up to those who struggled. Keep on fighting!
P.s. The main actor is LOGAN LERMAN!! LOGAN LERMAN!
Btw There's a poem in the novel that I love. I don't want to spoil it to you. But please do let me know what do you feel when you read the poem.
